Charlotte Lenhoff, age 91, of Wilmington, DE formerly of Clayton, DE passed away peacefully on September 24, 2021. Born in Georgetown, DE, she was the daughter of the late Alberta (Sammons) and Charles Bookhammer. Along with being a homemaker for her eight children, she worked as a certified nursing aid at the Masonic Home of Delaware for eighteen years. In addition to her parents, Charlotte was predeceased by her husband, Gerald L. Lenhoff; her sons, Charles and Karl Lenhoff; her grandson, Karl; and her sisters, Doris Marcone and Dorothy Haas. Charlotte is survived by her children, Lorraine Macasevich (Tom) of Middletown, DE, Cynthia Lenhoff of Bear, DE, Lisa Lenhoff of Green River, WY, Karen Lenhoff of New Castle, DE, Mark Lenhoff (Terri) of Bear, DE and Maria Lenhoff of Dover, DE; eleven grandchildren, Robert, Michael, Jason, Krista, Erica, Shea, Audrey, Lauren, Stephen, Christie, and Steven; eleven great grandchildren; her brother, Donald K. Blow (Linda), her sister, Mary King, and her brother-in-law, Jim Haas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday October 12th at 11:30 A.M at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 345 Bear-Christiana Road Bear, DE 19701. Burial will follow at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
