Obituary

Wyndham E. Ray "Tiny", 59 of Wilmington passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, September 7, 2019.Wyndham was born in Lake Charles, LA, the son of the late Nellie A. (Smith) and James E. Ray. Tiny served his country in the U.S. Army for over 7 years and was a school bus driver for Red Clay Consolidated School District. He was also a self- employed carpet and tile installer. Tiny was an avid dog lover and a fan of John Wayne and Elvis Presley. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Terry Ray.Tiny is survived by his brother, Ronald L. Ray; his nieces and their husbands, Kimberly Ray (Rick), Tiffany Lynn (Kevin) and Erin Rankin (Ben) and his great-nephew, Lucas.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 6 PM at the Full Gospel Apostolic Church, 430 E. South Street, Kennett Square, PA. Burial with military honors will be held on Friday, September 20, 2019 at 2 PM at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, De 19701. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Delaware Humane Association, 701 A St, Wilmington, DE 19801.
