William B. Osterstrom. Age 90, of Wilmington/Hockessin, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.

William (Bill) was born in Jamestown, NY, son of the late Ruth (Newman) and Parker Osterstrom. Bill graduated from high school then began his lifelong career working in various aspects of the Retail Grocery Chain Store Industry as well as the Fresh Produce Industry. Aside from providing for his family Bill also enjoyed gardening, camping, cheering on the Atlanta Braves, Philadelphia Phillies as well as the Buffalo Bills, frequent trips to Atlantic City, Lancaster, PA as well as yearly vacations in Sarasota, FL. He cherished visits and conversations with family, friends, and neighbors. In addition to his parents, Bill is predeceased by his high school sweetheart and wife of over 68 years, Joyce A. Osterstrom; brother, Donald Osterstrom; and sister, Marilyn Bender.

William is survived by his children and their spouses, Steven B. Osterstrom of Buffalo, NY, Kevin W. and Sue Osterstrom of Morrisville, NC, Rodney G. and Suzanne Osterstrom of Taylor, PA, Jeffrey D. and Rose Osterstrom of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Debra L. and Brian Anderson of Middletown, DE; his Grandchildren, Heather, Jayme, Darcy, Bethany, Jason, Jill, Justin, Matthew, Nicholas, Michael, Kelly and Brian Jr., 22 Great Grandchildren all of whom he loved dearly.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Bill's friends and caregivers at The Lorelton who have made his last few years some of his best.

As per Bill's request no Funeral services will be held.
