William J. Nolan, "Bill", age 83, of Newark, DE passed away on December 23, 2022.

Born on December 11, 1939 in Wilmington, DE he was the son of the late Harry G. Nolan. He served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he studied at Temple University and the University of Delaware and went on to work at DuPont for over thirty years at the Stine Lab and Graphic Industrial Products department until his retirement. Bill was an avid reader and lifelong learner. Bill also had a love of animals and rescued and cared for many cats over his lifetime. He will be dearly missed by his partner Lilian and her family.

Bill is survived by his partner of over fifty years, Lilian Hernandez, and his chosen family, including Lilian's children, Maria and Herminio Llevat, and grandchildren, Alexandra and Marcus Barainyak.

Funeral services will be held privately at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear, DE.
