Obituary

William E Davis, Jr. "Bill", passed away on November 15th, 2021, after enduring a lengthy battle suffering a traumatic brain injury at Christiana Hospital that he sustained in a tragic motorcycle accident on August 20, 2021. Born in Wilmington, DE December 31st, 1965 to Thelma Agnes Davis. He met his wife Tina True of 32 years at International Envelope Co, together they had three children and built a beautiful and loving home. Bill worked at Wawa Beverage Co (local 463) for over 20 years as yard jockey, retiring from the distribution center in Wawa, PA. Aside from work, Bill enjoyed spending quality time with his family by taking trips every summer to Ocean City, MD. He also loved to travel all over the east coast, camping and fishing. True to his roots, he also enjoyed working on cars whether; it was helping a friend in need or rebuilding a motor. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycles over the years. Bill was the type of man that would jump at the chance to give someone a helping hand. He will be dearly missed by his family. Bill is survived by his wife, Tina Davis; his daughters, Haley Morris and her husband, Robert Morris, Kelsey Lynn Davis; his son, Kevin McCoy True; his grandchildren, Delilah and Ace; his mother, Thelma Agnes Davis; two sisters, Shirl and Tammy; and a host of additional family members. If there is anything we can learn about Bill's accident it is that motorcyclists' safety needs to be taken more seriously. Funeral services will be held privately and for immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations go to victims of motorcycle accidents, rehabilitation treatment centers and mental health facilities.
