Wesley Christopher Sachau, October 7, 1976 - December 7, 2019It is with a very heavy heart that we announce Wesley Christopher Sachau, 43, our most beloved father, son, brother, uncle, family member, and good friend passed to the next life on Saturday, December 7th 2019 at Christiana Hospital.Wes will be missed every day by his daughter Emily and her mother Sara, his Father, Leslie, his Mother, Vickie, sister Deanne, nephew Derek, and his close-knit work family. His memory will be cherished by his grandmother Jessie, his Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many great friends.We are comforted in knowing Wes is now with his loving grandparents, Wilma and Richard and grandfather who is his namesake, Wesley, as well as his best friends Dan and Mike.Wes worked at Recovery Solutions Group, LLC. in Milford, DE for the past 4 years. He was blessed with and truly appreciated working with people that to him were a second family.We invite you to join us in sorrow and celebration of all that is Wes; his deep appreciation of any music that moved him, his feisty and outspoken opinions, his stubbornness, his fan loyalty to the Detroit Lions, his willingness to give the shirt off his own back, his hilarious sense of humor, his pain and struggles, his beaming - sometimes ornery smile, his love of good food, and his depth of feeling for all humans and animals.A visitation will be held on Saturday December 14th from 11 A.M. to 12 P.M. with funeral services beginning at 12 P.M. at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road Wilmington, DE 19808. Burial will be private.
