Vittorio Uro "Victor", 83 of Hockessin passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Accent Hospice.

Victor was born in Italy, the son of the late Liberata (Buzzelli) and Antonio Uro. He has been the owner and operator of Victor Pools, Inc. from 1968 to the present. Victor was a member of Cavaliers Country Club, Wilmington Optimist, the Prince of Piedmont Lodge, St. Anthony's Holy Name Society, Italo-Americans and St. Mary of the Assumption Church.

In addition to his parents, Victor was predeceased by his daughter, Linda and his sister, Maria DiDeo.  He will be dearly missed by his wife of 55 years, Amelia (Thomas) Uro; his daughter, Donna Uro of Hockessin; his son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Jennifer Uro of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Vittorio, Julianna, Joshua and Linda; his niece, Felicetta; his nephew, Anthony and his brother-in-law, Paolino DiDeo of Hockessin.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 7200 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin, DE 19707 on Monday morning from 10 to 11:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30 AM. Entombment will be in Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the church at the address above.
