Valerie A. Reaume, age 78, of New Castle, DE passed away on April 10, 2020.

Born in Easton, MD, Valerie was the daughter of the late Anna (Kelley) and Roland Dodd.  Phillip Sr. and Valerie married on September 9th, 1960. She went on to work as a legal secretary for the New Castle County Law Department. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved spending time with family and always had food ready for when anyone came to visit. In her free time she would do word searches and crosswords as well as shopping.

Valerie is survived by her husband Phillip E. Reaume Sr.; sons, Phillip E. Reaume, Jr., Clifford Reaume (Heather) and Keith Reaume (Wendy); and his grandchildren, Kristin Reaume, Rachel Ritter (Daniel), Jesse Reaume, Kyle Reaume, Caitlin Reaume, Calvin Reaume, Phillip E. Reaume, III and Margaret Reaume; her great granddaughter Amelia Wadsley and sister, Esther Sanderson (Ronald). Valerie was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Robin Reaume.

Funeral services will be held privately.
