Timothy J. Parks, "Tim", age 62, of Wilmington, DE passed away surrounded by his family on April 30th, 2025.

Born in Salem, NJ, he was the son of Shirley (Bluett) Parks and the late Wilmer H. Parks Jr.  Tim graduated from Woodstown High School and attended Delaware Technical Community College. Tim was well known and respected in his 25yrs at Sanford School, maintaining the athletic fields.  He always took great pride in his work. Later he settled in as the grounds foreman at Del Castle Golf Course, where he continued to enjoy his love of turf maintenance.

In addition to his work, Tim enjoyed spending his free time with his close friends and family, especially his beloved dog, Luca.

Tim was predeceased by his father, Wilmer H. Parks Jr. and his cousin, Raymond Parks, Jr "Little Ray".

Tim is survived by his wife of  34 years, Kate (Reardon) Parks; his sons, Eric Parks and Sean Parks (Makenzie); his mother, Shirley Parks; his siblings, Durwin Parks (Brenda) and Kevin Parks (Becky); his sister-in-law, Molly Siple; his beloved uncle, Raymond Parks "Uncle Buddy"; and his nieces and nephews, Ben Tusi (Jen), Matthew Parks, (Mary ), Lauren Sauder, Abigail Parks (Josh), Esther Parks, and Miriam Parks ; and cousins- Greg, Lynne, Tammy, David and Sheri.

A visitation will be held at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road Wilmington, DE 19808 on Tuesday May 6th from 10:30 A.M. to 12 P.M. with funeral services to begin at 12 P.M. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
