Thomas Stanley Krajewski, age 76 passed away on 11/12/2023 surrounded by his family.

Born in Wilmington, Delaware, he was the son of the late Stanley and Regina (Zakrzewski) Krajewski. Tom grew up in Middleboro Manor and was a graduate of St. Matthew grade school and Conrad High School (class of 1965). Following high school, Tom enlisted in the U.S. Army Europe. During Tom's service in Germany through the Vietnam war, he earned the National Service Medal before becoming a reserve Soldier which brought him back to Delaware.

After serving in the military, Tom pursued a career in accounting having graduated from Goldey Beacom College. He had 1 daughter, Kym and reunited with the love of his life, Barbara. Tom was an active man, he enjoyed painting with his brother, working on the house or car, playing pool and especially anything on the water. He was an avid fisherman, crabber, and loved being on the water or beach. Tom found the most joy in his family, especially his three grandsons. He enjoyed teaching them to fish and passing down his life lessons. Among those included his pragmatism and patience.

Tom is survived by his wife of 36 years, Barbara (Gondek) Krajewski, daughter Kym (Patrick) McGrory, sister Barbara Chechila, nephew Michael (Debbie) DePrisco, who he thought of as a brother, his sister-in-law Kathy Krajewski, 3 grandsons, Hayden, Tommy and Travis McGrory and many other nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his brother James Krajewski and brother-in-law Walter Chechila.

A visitation for Thomas will be held on Monday November 20th, 2023, at Mealey Funeral Homes, 2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808 where family and friends may call from 11:30AM to 12:30PM, with a funeral service following at 12:30PM. Burial will be private.
