Thomas G.
Collins, Iii
March 22, 1972 – April 28, 2024
Thomas "Tom" G. Collins, III
Tom passed away leaving behind cherished memories that will live in our hearts forever.
Raised in New Castle, DE, Tom developed an unwavering passion for sports at a very young age. He was an accomplished wrestler at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, Conshohocken, PA. While attending PW High, after learning there was no boys' lacrosse team, he participated on the girls' team – skirt and all. Tom's loyalty to Philadelphia sports teams knew no bounds; his enthusiasm in rooting for Philly was infectious and collecting sports memorabilia was his hobby. He passed along his Philly pride to his beloved daughter, Alexis, taking her to many sporting events, with their favorite being the Philadelphia Flyers. They went to dozens of games banging the glass together. On game day, his pacing and cheers will be missed. Fly high and hit home runs.
Tom is survived by his loving daughter, Alexis. His parents, Kathleen Rowe [Michael] and Thomas G. Collins, II. His siblings, Lauren Musumeci [Sam], Adam Collins [Ashley], and Timothy Collins [Wendy], niece Isla, nephews Jackson and Archie, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Funeral services will be held privately.
