Therese M. Stymerski, age 81, of Bear, DE, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.

Therese was born in Wilmington, daughter of the late Estelle (Adams) and Willard Thompson. Therese graduated from St. Peters high school in New Castle and went on to receive her associates degree from Goldey Beacom. Therese went on to become a receptionist at Local IBEW 313 for over 30 years, where she was also in charge of the apprenticeship program, until her retirement. In her free time, Therese enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Therese is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Robert Stymerski; sister, Rose Mary Reed; and numerous nieces and nephews and close family friends whom she all loved.

A visitation for Therese will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church, 301 N. Bancroft Pkwy, Wilmington, DE 19805, where family and friends may call from 11am to 12pm, with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 12pm. Burial will follow at Delaware Veterans Cemetery.
