Theresa Ann Cirillo, age 92, of Bear, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 24, 2023.

Theresa was born in Wilmington, daughter of the late Margaret M. (Campbell) and Leon Thomas. Theresa graduated from St. Elizabeths class of 1948 and graduated from the Franklin Institue of Medical Technicians. Theresa worked for the late Dr. Robert O.Y. Warner and for the Blood Bank of Delaware before her retirement. In her free time, Theresa was an active choir member in multiple parishes and loved spending time with family and friends. In addition to her parents, Theresa was predeceased by her husband, Joseph A. Cirillo; grandson, Kevin P. Hayden; great granddaughter, Bryana Downs; and sisters, Louise, Margaret, and Leona Thomas.

Theresa is survived by her daughter, Margaret Hayden; her son Paul (Karen) Hayden; stepsons and their wives, Michael (Sharron) Cirillo, Mark (Kristie) Cirillo, and Paul (Kim) Cirillo; grandchildren, Eric Henderson (Kristine), Shannon Hayden, Angelina Cirillo, Michael Cirillo II, Arthur Wheeler IV, Alyssa Cirillo, Mark Cirillo Jr., Stan Zulkowski, Samantha Cirillo, Joey Cirillo; great grandchildren Ethan Walters, Teegan Hayden, Cullen Hayden, Elijah Wright, Edward Wright; great great grandchild, Cameron Odell and numerous close family friends whom she all loved.

A visitation for Theresa will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023, at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808, where family and friends may call from 10-11AM, with a memorial service following at 11AM. Entombment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Theresa's name to Delaware Hospice, 220 Continental Dr, Suite 407, Newark, DE 19713.
