Theodore Protack, Jr., "Ted", age 68, of Newark, DE passed away at his home on September 25, 2023.

Born in Wilmington, DE, "Ted", was the son of the late Eileen (Joyce) and Theodore Protack, Sr. He graduated from the former DeLaWarr High School in New Castle, and worked in IT, most recently for Christiana Care. Ted enjoyed any sort of game sporting, and often went hunting with his brother, Bobby, when he was younger. He met his wife Carol, while at archery club, and enjoyed competition rifle shooting and fishing.

Ted is survived by his wife of 31 years, Carol Protack; his brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Paula Protack; his mother and father-in-law, Alan and Audrey Vogenberg; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A visitation will be held on Monday October 2, 2023 from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 11 A.M.at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 12 Winder Rd, New Castle, DE 19720. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
