Theodore R. Calhoun, Jr. "Ted", age 71, of Newark, DE passed away surrounded by his family on July 2, 2018.Born in Bristol, TN, Ted was the son of the late Edith (Arnold) and Theodore Calhoun, Sr. He graduated from Christiana High School and went on to own and operate his own excavation companies. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Peggy Lynam.Ted is survived by his wife, Arlene Calhoun of Newark, DE; his son, Christopher Calhoun (Melissa) of Newark, DE; his daughter, Jennifer Clark of Newark, DE; his grandson, Colt Calhoun; and his sister, Donna Wood (James) of Newark, DE.A visitation will be held on Friday July 6th, 2018 from 10 AM to 11 AM, with funeral services beginning at 11 AM at the Marshallton United Methodist Church, 1105 Stanton Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808.
