September 4, 1932 - January 16, 2019Thaddeus "Ted" Knitowski of Wilmington, Delaware and formerly of Bridgewater and Manville, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. Ted graduated from Bound Brook High School in 1950. He served in the US Army between 1953 and 1955 during the Korean War. He earned a BS in Accounting from Rider College in 1959. He lived most of his adult life in Bridgewater, New Jersey and moved to Wilmington, Delaware in 1998 after retiring. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marge Knitowski (Cutrone) of Delaware, sons David Knitowski of Oregon and Dennis (and Natalie) Knitowski of Pennsylvania, daughter Karen Knitowski of Indiana, sisters Helen Rinaldo and Lorraine Ott of New Jersey and Dolores McGuffy of Mississippi, two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Edward Knitowski of New Jersey and his parents, Walter and Katie (Szymanski) Knitowski. He will be cremated and have his ashes interred in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, New Jersey. The family will have a memorial service in the Spring.
