Temple Frederick Connolly, Jr. 73, of Landenberg, PA passed away on, Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Seasons Hospice.Temple was born in Newark, DE, the son of the late Roseanna (Lenhoff) and Temple Connolly on March 26, 1945. He graduated from Newark High School and received a degree in accounting from the University of Delaware. He served his country in the U.S. Army for two years. While stationed in Augusta, GA he met and married his wife, Sheila.Temple was an avid hunter and fisherman for most of his life and enjoyed the art of cooking and eating fine cuisine. He was an excellent self-taught carpenter, who designed and built many renovations to his home over the years.Temple is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sheila (Cashin) Connolly; his two daughters and their husbands, Monica and T.J. Dalton and their children, Britton and Brooke of Hoboken, NJ and Stacy and Stephen Hollis and their children, Alexandra and Jonathan of Landenberg, PA; his sister, Barbara Connolly of Monterey, CA; his niece, Alicia Logan and her family of Lancaster, PA and his nephew, Edward Adkins and his family of Reno, NV.A private family funeral service will be held at a later time.
