Suzanne Leta Fiske, age 82, of Wilmington, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023.

Suzanne was born in Wilmington, daughter of the late Margaret (Jamison) and John Phillips. Suzanne graduated from Wilmington high school and went on to receive her master's degree in Psychology from St. Joseph's University. She became the Assistant Director for the Camelot Home for Boys and Avalon Home for Girls with her husband which served hundreds of children in Delaware. Suzanne was an incredibly supportive mother and was her children and grandchildren's biggest fan in any sport or activity they participated in. Suzanne will be remembered as being a secondary mother to many children through the years. In her free time, Suzanne loved going to the beach and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Suzanne was predeceased by her loving husband, Russell L. Fiske Sr.

Suzanne is survived by her sons, Russell (Jennifer) and Jonathan (Heather) Fiske; grandchildren, Alexia Leone, Wesley Fiske, Jason Fiske, Russell Fiske III, Reagan Fiske, and Scarlet Fiske; and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and close family friends whom she all loved.

A visitation for Suzanne will take place on Monday, January 30, 2023, at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808, where friends and family may call from 11:30AM to 12:30PM, with a memorial service following at 12:30PM. Burial will follow at the Delaware Veterans Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests blood donations to the Blood Bank of Delaware to honor Suzanne's memory.
