Susan B. Donaldson, 78 of Hockessin passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Christiana Hospital surrounded by her family.

Susan was born in Massena, NY the daughter of the late Marie (Kuchler) and G. Manville Badger. She earned an Associates Degree from Canton ATI and her Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture from Delaware Tech. Susan worked for ICI America / AstraZeneca for over 20 years in the agriculture industry . She also worked for the DuPont Company for 10 years.

Susan was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church. She enjoyed traveling the world and recently completed her bucket list when she and her granddaughter traveled to Alaska. She was actively involved in Singles on Sailboats (SOS) and the Wilmington Ski Club and cherished all the friendships she made along the way.

Susan will be dearly missed by her sons and daughters-in-law, Wesley and Ann of Newark and Craig and Jessi of West Grove, PA; her grandchildren, Wesley, Jr., Hailey and Harper; her brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Shirl Badger of Neptune, NJ; her sister, Marilyn Badger of Massena, NY and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 7200 Lancaster Pike at 11 AM, where friends may visit after 10 AM.. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Breast Cancer Foundation, 10440 Little Patuxent Parkway, Suite 300, Columbia, MD 21044.
