Age 69, of Bear, DE, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 30, 2015 at Seasons Hospice. Born in Crawfordsville, IN, Sue was the daughter of the late Rev. Ernest Francis and Hester Elizabeth (Rhoades) Prevo, She was a graduate of Evansville University and DePaul University and worked as a registered nurse for Chester Crozer Medical Center for 25 years. Previously, she was employed by Delaware State Hospital. She loved the holidays because of family time and she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. As often as she could, she traveled to Wildwood and Cape May, NJ. Her hobbies included collecting owls, sewing, crafting and knitting, which was her special talent. She was a big fan of John Deere machinery. She will be dearly missed by her children, Lorenzo II and his wife Katherine of Philadelphia, PA, Brian and his wife Danielle of New Castle, DE, Darlene Murdaugh of Newark and Patty Ford and her husband David of Elsmere, DE; her grandchildren, Macie Murdaugh, Joshua and Amber, Michael and Jason Ford; her great grandchildren, Lilly and Alyvia, and Joshua and Lilly; and her former spouse, Rev. Lorenzo Murdaugh. She is prceded in death by her granddaughter, Madilyn Zoe. Friends and family are invited to visitation on Saturday, November 7th between 10 and 11 AM at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington where a memorial service will follow at 11 AM. Interment will be private.
