Steven Paul Richardson, 72 of Wilmington passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital after a long illness. Steve was born in Minneapolis, MN, the son of the late Marilyn June (Stern) and Paul Noel Richardson. He received his Bachelors of Science Degree from the University of Delaware in 1970. He retired from the DuPont Company as a chemical engineer after 30 years. He also served his country in the U.S. Army Reserve. Steven is survived by his children and their spouses, Stuart and Melanie Richardson of Newark, Stephanie and Jay Baxter of Sammamish, WA and Steven W. Richardson of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Hannah and Katie Baxter and Julia and Jace Richardson; his sisters, Ann Chmura of Geneva, NY and Janet Katz and her husband, Andrew of Fort Wayne, IN and his former spouse, Sharon Richardson.
