Age 84, of Bear, DE, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, June 8, 2016.Shirley had a strong faith in God. She was a beautiful person, inside and out with a calm demeanor and a loving, caring spirit. She loved and was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing the piano.Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Jerome A. of Bear; daughters Patricia West (Dave) of Bear, Sandra Mason of New Jersey, and son Jerome of Newark; grandchildren, David, Amanda and Ashley West, Rachel and Gabrielle Mason; and great grandson, Donald Mason. She was predeceased by a daughter, Catherine Malmberg and brother, Edward Crosier. She is survived by her sister, Olive Kinkle and brother-in-law Walter Ribeiro and numerous nieces and nephews.Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 13th at 11 AM at Holy Angels Church, 82 Possum Park Road, Newark, DE 19711 where friends are invited to visitation after 10 AM.
