Shirley R. Crouch, 92, of Wilmington, DE, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. Shirley was a very active member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Stanton, DE. She had many friends there, and she loved the Lord. Shirley enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and family. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Crouch Sr.; her son, Robert C. Crouch Jr.; and her great-grandson, Jeffrey S. Gennusa II. Shirley is survived by her daughter and caregiver, Claudia Steele; her daughter, Brenda Wells (Emerson); her grandchildren, Jennifer Marcozzi (Brian), Diana Delpiano (Frank), Monica Washburn (Dan), Heather Steele and Thomas Steele IV (Alicia); and her great-grandchildren, Morgan, Frank IV, T.J., Bella, and Joey. Special thanks to Seasons Hospice, the doctors and nurses at Christiana Hospital, and Dr. Victoria Maun for their excellent care. A Visitation will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 10 to 11 AM at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 1700 Limestone Rd Wilmington, DE 19804 followed by a Memorial Service beginning at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Marks UMC at the address above in Shirley's memory.
