Shirlene Riley Miller Age 77, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Christiana Hospital due to complications from the coronavirus. Born in Wilmington, Shirlene was the daughter of the late Florence (Hesser) and Thomas Snyder, Sr. Shirlene spent her career as a paralegal for a number of law firms in the downtown Wilmington area. She enjoyed cooking as a hobby, but her passion was the love of sailing on the Chesapeake Bay with her husband and captain Craig, where they frequently visited Annapolis and countless other coves along the Eastern Shore. Shirlene is predeceased by her parents and first husband Clayton Riley, and will be dearly missed by her beloved husband of 18 years, D. Craig Miller; her daughter, Brooke Riley Sterling (Gary); her son, Michael Riley (Camilla); her cherished grandchildren, Aidan and Regan Riley; her brother, Thomas Snyder, Jr; and her beloved golden retriever, Skipper, who brought her much joy through the years. Funeral services will be private.
