Sherry Lynn Mealey, 59 of Newark passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 11, 2024.

Sherry was born in Chester, PA the daughter of the late Thelma "Cookie" (Gaster) and Robert A. Wilson, Sr. She graduated from Concord High School and attended Widener University. Sherry was a project manager for Kyndryl and IBM for many years and previously worked for over 20 years at ICI America/ Astra Zeneca. She was always at peace at the beach and enjoyed casino trips with her mother and brother. In 1992, Sherry married the love of her life, Mark A. Mealey, who gave her a family she always dreamed of.

Sherry will be dearly missed by her husband of 31 years, Mark A. Mealey; her daughters, Ashley of Conshohocken, PA and Heather of Wilmington; her brother, Jeff of Wilmington and her grand dog, Ellie.

Friends may call at the MEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, from 10 to 11:30 AM. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM. Burial will be private.
