Sharyn Lynn Pasheilich Betschel, age 81, of Hockessin, DE passed away early Wednesday morning, November 20, 2024.

Born October 21, 1943, in Mansfield, OH she was the daughter of the late Shirley and Fred Pasheilich Sr. Sharyn retired from the New Castle County Finance Department after over 40 years. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, bingo, reading, and spending time with her family. Sharyn was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

Sharyn is survived by her husband of 59 years, Reinhold Betschel of Hockessin, DE; two daughters, Lisa (Michael) Zappaterrini of Wilton, CT, and Kristin (David) Henderson of Newark, DE; grandchildren, Lauren, Kaitlin and Ben Zappaterrini, and William and Ryan Henderson; sister, Rebecca Cea of Sun City, AZ and two brothers Fred Pasheilich Jr. of Lexington, OH and Jim (Karen) Pasheilich of Mansfield, OH.

Funeral Services for Sharyn will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Sharyn's name to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave, FL 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
