Sean P. McFarland, age 43, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

Sean was born in Wilmington, son of Patricia A. (Recchiuti) McFarland and the late Michael J. McFarland. Sean graduated from Salesianum School, Class of 1999, and attended the University of Delaware. Sean loved watching football and cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles. In his free time, Sean enjoyed fishing, bowling, watching movies, and spending time with his family and friends.

Sean is survived by his mother, Patricia McFarland; brother, Ryan McFarland; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and close family friends whom he all loved.

Funeral services for Sean will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Sean's name to Easter Seals, 61 Corporate Circle, New Castle, DE 19720.
