Sandy Suarez, 48, of Newark, DE passed away on April 2nd, 2024.
Born on November 4th, 1975, to Jose and Emma Suarez in Bellflower, CA, she graced the lives of all who knew her with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love. She attended Santa Fe High School and graduated from Concord Career College, in Anaheim California, obtaining her certification for Hospital & Medical Office Management. She loved her job at ENT & Allergy of Delaware and also loved her coworkers and doctors. She attended World of Life Church where she was a member of the Christian faith.
Sandy was a devoted mother to her two beloved sons, Jonathan and Aaron and enjoyed making memories with them. She was an avid gardener and adored her two cats Ava and Canelo. Throughout her life, Sandy touched countless hearts with her gentle demeanor, genuine compassion, and radiant smile. She had an innate ability to make everyone feel valued and loved, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to have known her. Her unwavering faith and optimism inspired all who crossed her path, reminding us to cherish every moment and find beauty in life's simplest joys. Sandy leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and compassion that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to have known her. Though she may no longer be with us in person, her spirit will forever illuminate our lives and guide us through the darkest of days. She was and still is, a cherished mother, daughter, sister, and friend.
Sandy is survived by her sons, Jonathan (Brianna) and Aaron; her parents, Jose and Emma Suarez; her sisters Aileen and Pearl; her brother Jose (Zafra); and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
An open visitation will be held from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. on Saturday April 6th, 2024, at Mealey Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2509 Limestone Road Wilmington, DE 19808. We ask that you wear colorful or floral clothing, as Sandy would have wanted. Sandy will be laid to rest privately at All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington, DE. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Sandy's memory to the Jefferson Transplant Institute, https://giving.jefferson.edu/giving-guide/centers-institutes/jefferson-transplant-institute.html or the Brandywine Valley SPCA, 290 Churchman's Road New Castle, DE 19720.
