Age 73 of Wilmington, DE, passed away at Christiana Hospital on Sunday, October 26, 2014.Born in Reading, PA, Sandy was the daughter of the late Earl J. and Dorothy G. (Mull) Ruthardt. She worked as a lab technician for Astra Zeneca for 30 years until her retirement. Sandy enjoyed shooting pool and competed nationally in Las Vegas. She also played solfball for the Delaware Senior Olympics.Sandy was predeceased by her brother, Earl J. Ruthardt, Jr. She will be dearly missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Shelly and Jack Bolduc of New Castle; her brother, Douglas M. Ruthardt of Bradenton, FL; and her beloved cats, Tyler and Patches.There will be a Celebration of Sandy's Life on Tuesday, November 4th at Lewinsky's on Clinton, 92 Clinton Street, Delaware City, Delaware between 6 - 9 p.m.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Faithful Friends Animal Society, 12 Germay Drive, Wilmington DE 19804.
