Sandra J. Ruff, age 82 "Sandy" of Newark, formerly of Middletown, DE passed away on March 24, 2025.

Born in Wilmington, DE, she was the daughter of the late Tessie (Dobies) and Frank Louis Bianco. She attended Padua high school and graduated from Brown Vo-Tech as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Sandy retired from Regal Heights Nursing Home as an LPN for over 30 years. Sandy was a former member of St. Anthony of Padua Church and volunteered at the Italian Festival.

In addition to her parents, Sandra was predeceased by her husband Walter W. Ruff, Jr; her sons, Anthony F. and Christopher P. Ruff; sister, Patricia Columbo; and grandson, Christopher Ruff, Jr. She is survived by her son, Michael K. Ruff (Elizabeth) of Middletown and daughter, Stacey D. Prucino (Gary) of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Christopher, Lauren, Morgan, Ashley, Logan, Heather and Danielle; great-grandson, Bentley and her daughter-in-law, Alison Ruff of Odessa.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808. Friends may call at the funeral home after 9:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Helen Graham Cancer Society, 4701 Ogletown Stanton Rd, Newark, DE 19713.
