Samuel Lee Sesson, age 84, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 2, 2023.

Samuel was born in Scotland Neck, NC, son of the late Mary Pittman. Samuel worked multiple jobs to support his family. In his free time, Samuel loved spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his mother, Samuel was predeceased by his daughter, Dorothy Mae Harper; and son, Joseph Lee Harper.

Samuel is survived by his children, Patricia Whitaker (Lonnie), Shirley Sessoms (Calvin), Margaret Lynch (Willie), Marilyn Mithcell, Barbara Jean Sesson (William), Cornelius Davis, and Samuel Lee Sesson Jr.; grandchildren, Tyrone Lamont Sessom Sr. (Santia), Agnella Sessom, and Ari Daniels; great grandson Tyrone Lamont Sessom Jr.; and numerous close family friends whom he all loved.

Funeral Services and Burial will be held privately.
