Sally Anne O'Brien

Sally Anne O’Brien, age 69, of Wilmington Delaware, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.

Born in Landenberg PA, she was the daughter of Delores (Griffen) and Raymond Hales. Sally graduated from William Penn High School in 1975. Shortly after, she went to work for Chrysler as an assembly line worker for fourteen years. Sally was a true all time hippie. A kind and gentle spirit, she loved Native American art and dream catchers and especially loved her cats Jack and Wiley. Above all, she loved her husband Kevin.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Kevin O’Brien; her parents Raymond and Betty Hales; children Michael O’Brien and Tiffany Varner; grandchildren Kayla and Izik; siblings Raymond Hales (Wendy), Betty Dietrich, Chris Hales (Shelly); and her aunt and uncle, June and Charles Hales
