Roy W. McMahon, age 92, of Wilmington passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.

Roy was born in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late Helen Lois (McKinney) and Richard McMahon. Roy graduated from Taylor Allderdice high school and went on to serve our country honorably in the U.S Army during the Korean War. After returning from the service, Roy became a Senior Electrical Designer Engineer at DuPont until his retirement. Roy's faith was important to him, and he was a long-time parishioner at St. John the Beloved Roman Catholic Church. Roy loved being around his family and cherished every moment he spent with them. In his free time, Roy enjoyed many hobbies and playing golf. In addition to his parents, Roy was predeceased by his loving wife, Roberta McMahon in 2016.

Roy is survived by his daughter and her husband, Mariane (Brian) Alls; sons and their wives, Patrick (Lisa) and Brian (Julie) McMahon; grandchildren, Ian, Corinne, Audrey, Andrew, Brandon, and Emily; sisters, Helen Oross and Margaret Segiel; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close family friends whom he all loved.

Funeral services and burial will be held privately.
