Rosemary A. Barbas, 94 of Newark, DE passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Cadia Nursing and Rehabilitation. Rosemary was born in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of the late Domenica (Spadaro) and Martin F. Apostolico. She was a graduate of Wilmington High School and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Rosemary was predeceased by her husband, William P. Barbas in 1973; her son Paul W. Barbas; her sister, Dorothy D'Amico; her son-in-law, Wayne Malish and her sister-in-law, Kathleen Apostolico. Rosemary will be dearly missed by her son, William P. Barbas, Jr. and his wife, Linda of Newark; her daughters, Dorothy M. Malish of Dallas, TX and Mary Ann White of Newark; her grandchildren, Michael, TaraMarie, Patricia, Michael, Bryan and Kimberly; her brother, Martin Apostolico of Wilmington; her brother-in-law, Angelo D'Amico of Elsmere and many great-grandchildren. The family of Rosemary would like to thank the staff of Cadia Nursing and Rehabilitation for the care they provided to their mother. Funeral services will be private.
