Age 74, of Wilmington, DE, passed away at her residence on Sunday, April 19, 2015.Born in Wilmington, Rose Ann was the daughter of Mary Florence (DiGiacomo) Izzo and the late Francis Joseph Izzo. She was a member of the first graduating class of Padua Academy where she earned the title of valedictorian. She worked at the DuPont Company as a purchasing assistant until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family and pampering her Maltese/Shih-Tzu mix, Toby.Rose Ann will be dearly missed by her mother, Mary Florence Izzo; her daughter and son-in-law, Maryann and Michael Giroso; her son, Thomas B. Baker, Jr.; her grandchildren, Jennifer Giroso and Christopher Giroso and his wife, Melanie; and her adored great grandchildren, Ryleigh and Cole. She also leaves her brother and sister-in-law, Rocke and Alice Izzo and sister, Laura Jean Watkins.A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Friday, April 24th at 11 AM at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington.
