Ronald A. Wilson, 71 of Wilmington passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, January 10, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.
Ron enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Flyers, riding his Harley, trips to the Outer Banks and cooking. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Ron was born in Wilmington, the son of the late Mary Alma (Tankersley) and Richard D. Wilson. He was a graduate of Dickinson High School and was a plumber and pipefitter by trade, working at the Philadelphia Naval Yard and Sun Ship. He retired as the chief custodian at Cab Calloway High School after 10 years of service. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, James and his sister, Barbara Henretty.
Ron will be dearly missed by his wife of 50 years, Agnes "Agi" (Kelemen); his son Jason Wilson of Wilmington; his daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Kenny Hoffecker of Clayton; his grandchildren, Abby and Shane; his in-laws, Christine and Joe Finnegan and several nieces and nephews, especially his niece Cindy Henretty, with whom he shared a special bond

A viewing will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 11 Am to 1 PM at the MEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington. Services and burial will be private.
