Ronald G.
Reverdito
August 31, 1952 – January 11, 2026
Ronald Gene Reverdito, loving Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle and friend, passed away on January 11, 2026, surrounded by his loving family at his home in Rehoboth Beach, DE. He lived a life defined by service, integrity, and devotion to his family. Born on August 31, 1952, Ron lived a life grounded in responsibility and steady purpose, earning the respect and admiration of all who knew him.
Ron married the love of his life Joanne (Tolmie) Reverdito in 1974. Together they began a lifelong partnership that was defined by love, commitment, and mutual respect. They built a strong and enduring marriage, creating a home rooted in stability, kindness, and unwavering support for their family.
Ron was the proud father of five children: Ronald, (Kim) Vincent (Devon), Nicholas, Jennifer, and Michael. He was a devoted father, provider and role model who believed in showing up, leading by example, and placing family first. He gave his children a remarkable upbringing grounded in values, responsibility, and care, and his guidance remains a constant presence throughout their lives.
Ron's grandchildren were his greatest joy. Matthew Reverdito, Hailey Reverdito, Jaxon Reverdito, Roman Reverdito, Norah Reverdito, Scarlett Reverdito, Violet Reverdito and Giovanni Reverdito brought him immense happiness, and he was delighted with every moment he spent with them.
Ron dedicated 31 years of service to McKee Foods, where his work ethic and reliability reflected his deep sense of pride and commitment. He also honorably served 22 years in the Delaware Air National Guard with the 166th Airlift Wing, retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant. During his military career, Ron proudly served during Operation Desert Storm, an experience that further reflected his commitment to duty and country. He was also proud to be part of the wing's early involvement in the Prime Readiness in Base Services (PRIME RIBS) program, a milestone he valued deeply. Throughout his service, Ron was recognized as a trusted leader and teammate, forming lasting bonds with fellow service members that endured long after his years of service concluded.
Ron found great joy in spending time with his family, fishing and boating and treasured every opportunity to take his children and grandchildren along. Those moments were less about the water or the catch and more about time spent together, sharing stories, laughter, and patience. He was especially fond of telling humorous stories about his children, always with pride and affection.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents, Albert Reverdito and Elizabeth (Ganzman) Reverdito, and his brother, LarryReverdito.
Ronald Gene Reverdito will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, a respected leader, and a man of generosity and integrity. His legacy lives on through the family he raised, the friendships he maintained, and the examples he set of what it means to live with honor and to care for others.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Joanne; his children; his grandchildren; nieces and nephews and a wide circle of friends, colleagues, and fellow service members whose lives were enriched by knowing him.
A visitation for Ron will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808, where friends and family may call from 9-11am, with a memorial service following at 11am. Burial will be held privately.
