Ronald J. Morris, age 89, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.

Ron was born in Girardville, PA, son of the late Mary (Laconis) and Peter Morris. Ron graduated from Girardville high school and went on to serve our country honorably in the U.S Army. After returning home from the service, Ron went on to become a technician for Singer, which later became T.R.W, until his retirement. In his free time, Ron loved collecting Lionel and HO model trains, photography, going to the Oak Grove Senior Center, spending time with family and friends, and traveling with his wife June on various work trips through the years. In addition to his parents, Ron was also predeceased by his sister Lorraine Blagus.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, June Morris; son, Randy Morris; niece, Deborah "Debbie" Hauck, and her husband John; close friend and neighbor, Carolyn Moore; and numerous great nieces, great nephews, and cousins whom he all loved.

Funeral services for Ron will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Rd, Bear, DE 19701, at 2pm.
