Ronald J. Emerson, age 59, of Wilmington, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023, after a short illness.

Ronald was born in Wilmington, son of the late Margaret (Hatch) and Ronald F. Emerson. Ronald graduated from high school and became a Computer Technician, working for multiple companies throughout his career. Ronald was a talented artist and loved drawing. In his free time, Ronald enjoyed working on computers, and spending time with his family and friends.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Aimee Emerson; son, Gavin Emerson; sisters, Melani (Thomas) Murphy and Margaret (Meg) Emerson; brother, Jason Emerson; and numerous close family friends whom he all loved.

A visitation for Ronald will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Rd. Wilmington, DE 19808, where family and friends may call from 10-11AM, with a memorial service following at 11AM. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation in Ron's name to your local animal shelter, American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society.
