Obituary

Roberto J. Gollmann, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 25th, 2026 surrounded by his family.

He lived a full and beautiful life until the age of 74. Roberto is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 43 years, Deborah H. Gollmann. Surviving is his daughter, Ashley Gollmann, of Delaware, and his son, Peter Gollmann and his wife Laura, of Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Pedro and Mary Gollmann.

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he was the son of Pedro and Mary Gollmann. He attended Stevens Institute of Technology, earning a master's degree in Organic Chemistry with a focus on Polymer Chemistry. Roberto was a dedicated professional at Taghleef Industries, contributing for many years to the manufacture of various films used in flexible and food packaging, labeling, and more. Serving as Director of International Sales and later as a consultant, he remained committed to the company's success up until his passing.

Roberto lived a life filled with love, laughter, and meaningful relationships with family and friends. A loving husband and father, he cherished traveling the world with his wife and family, spending time at home with their two beloved dogs, playing tennis and pickleball at the Greenville Country Club, and sailing on the Chesapeake Bay on the weekends. Those who knew him will remember his warmth, his smile, his sense of humor, and the joy he brought to every moment. He touched countless lives and will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held on a future date to be announced.
