Age 75 of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving wife of 50 years, on October 31th, 2015.Born on November 4th, 1939 in Hazleton, Pa. Bob was the son of the late Herman and Martha Trent. Before marrying and relocating to Wilmington, Bob served his country in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed a 25 year career with Diamond State & Bell Atlantic Phone Companies; then had the pleasure of working with his sons for 16 years at New Life Furniture before finally retiring. His easy nature endeared him to all. Bob loved playing pool with his buddies in the BCA pool league, working in his wood shop and cheering for his beloved Eagles.Along with his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his sister Jane, and his daughter-in-law Nancy. He is survived by his wife Ann, sons Rob, Mark and fianc Barb; and nieces Kathy Treible, Janet and Laura Walls along with grand-daughters Rhiannon, Samantha and Alyssa.Friends and family are invited to visitation on Sunday, November 8th between 2 and 4 PM with a short service to follow at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington.
