Robert "Bob" Harry Rawstrom, age 78, of Wilmington, DE, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2024, peacefully surround by his family.

Bob was born in Long Island, NY, to the late Edna (Morrison) and Harry W. Rawstrom. He graduated from Newark High School in 1964 and went on to graduate from Spring Garden Institute in 1967 with a degree in mechanical engineering. He worked for Newport News Shipbuilding and helped design the aircraft elevators for the aircraft carrier Nimitz (CVN68). He then moved back to Delaware and worked for several companies as a Project Manager. He started Larco Mechanical Contractors in 1982. After he retired, he worked with his son Bill on their food truck, the Rolling Pig.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years Linda Rawstrom, his son William Rawstrom and daughter in law Susan Rawstrom, and his grandchildren Bobbi Lea Rawstrom, Harry James Rawstrom, and Elizabeth Claire Rawstrom.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808 at 11:00AM. Friends may visit after 9:00AM. Burial will be held privately.
