Robert K. Palmer, 80 of Wilmington passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, May 6, 2021 surrounded by his family. Bob was born in Wilmington, the son of the late Ethel (Isaacs) and Dolphus Palmer. He was a graduate of Brown Vocational High School and served his country in the U.S. Army. Bob was a member of the Carpenters Local 626 for over 50 years. He attended Community Fellowship Church. Bob is survived by his wife, Marlene (Matoni) Palmer; his brother and sister-in-law, George and Judy Palmer of New Castle; his step-children, Richard Griffin Jr., Amanda Sparkman (Kenny) and Ashley "Felix" Temple (Sean), all of Newark; his step-grandchildren, Myra, Melina, Richard, III, Annabelle and Kenny, Jr. and many nieces and nephews.
