Robert J. Julian, age 88, of Wilmington, DE passed away surrounded by his family on February 27, 2024.

A lifelong resident of Wilmington, Bob was born to the late Rose (Tavani) and John Julian. Bob graduated from the Salesianum School and attended the University of Delaware. He worked for over 50 years alongside his father and brother in their family business, John Julian Construction Co. Bob spent years golfing at Cavaliers Country Club, where he was a former president. He enjoyed spending time playing cards with his family and friends and enjoyed spending his winters in Naples, Florida. Bob was very generous in volunteering his time to various charitable organizations in Delaware. He will be dearly missed.

Robert is survived by his wife of 66 years, Lorraine (Nepa) Julian; his children, Robert Julian (Candy), Karla Julian, Lorraine Julian Scott (Thomas H. Scott) and Nancy Julian; his grandchildren, Adelina and Isabella Julian, and Shaley Scott; his sister, Joan Rizzo; and a host of cousins and extended family. In addition to his parents, Robert is predeceased by his sister, Adeline Sarro; his brothers, Gabe Julian, and J.R. Julian; and his son-in-law, Douglas V. Smith.

A visitation will be held on Monday March 4th from 10 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 11:30 A.M. at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church, 907 Milltown Road Wilmington, DE 19808. Interment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's name can be made to West End Neighborhood House, 710 N. Lincoln Street Wilmington, DE 19805.
