Age 84, of Newark, DE, died December 9, 2016 at Christiana Hospital. Throughout, Bob chose to engage in life through his passions that included fishing, shooting trap, skeet and sporting clays, boating on the Chesapeake, and even dancing at the VFW. No bigger passion for Bob was family. In partnership with Jean Ann (his wife of 50 years), he will always be remembered as a role model to his 4 children, 7 grandkids, and even the extended family of people that came into his life needing a fatherly role model. His home and heart was always be open, and his life is filled with people he unselfishly loved. Robert is survived by his children, Eugene, Philip, Rob, and Linnea, his grandchildren, his brother Ray Bernosky and sister Barbara Turner. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 11 AM, where visiting hours begin at 10AM at St. John the Beloved Church,907 Milltown Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808.
