Richard T. Permar, age 92, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2026.

Richard was born in Wilmington, DE, son of Andrew Permar and Frances Szymanski. After completing his military service with the U.S. Army in Panama, Richard proudly maintained his membership in Pipefitters Local 74 for 72 years.

Richard is predeceased by his wife Bernice and his brother Andrew. He is survived by his sons Mark (Joan) and Christopher; grandchildren, Quinn (Claudia) and Jillian Lucas (William).

As per his wishes, services will be private.
