Richard Rocco Cutone, age 82, of Bear, DE passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 11, 2023.

Richard was born on May 24, 1940, in Washington, D.C., and his family moved to Wilmington, DE when he was 14.

Richard was a U.S Air Force Serviceman and Air National Guardsman. He attended Brown Vocational School and became a Union Electrician for 33 years with IBEW Local 313 in New Castle, DE until his retirement.

Richard was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Mary (Murabito) Cutone; brother, Anthony Cutone Jr.; and loving companion, Jo Ann Skidmore.

Richard is survived by his niece, Marie Cutone, and her children, Gabriella McCoy, Nick Cutone, and Anthony Cutone; nephew, Tony McConnell; close family companions who he treated as his own children, Shari (Kenneth) Crowe and Stephen Skidmore, and their children Sara (Kevin) Arnold, Jennifer (Jon) Scott, and Stephanie Skidmore; numerous cousins; and extended family whom he all loved.

Richard's family would like to thank Arden Courts of Wilmington Memory Care Unit for his care during this difficult journey.

A visitation for Richard will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023, at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19805 where friends and family may call from 6-8PM. Services and burial will be held privately.
