Rex L. Maclary, age 64, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025 surrounded by his family.

Born in Wilmington, DE on October 14, 1960, he was the son of the late Ann (McCommons) and Lewis Maclary. Rex graduated from Newark High School in 1978 and began his career as a manufacturer in various companies in Delaware. Rex was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan and loved watching his grandchildren compete in their team sports. He also had a passion for all sorts of race cars.

Rex is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Dale Maclary; his son Ryan Maclary; sister LuAnn Bellman (Mike); grandchildren Emma, Khloe, and Ryan II; and multiple cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services for Rex will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions to Aetna Hose, Hook & Ladder Company.
