Regina Caroline Dickson Kinnally August 21, 1951-November 16, 2021 IMAGINE… Cutest little girl, all smiles riding her bike, roller skating on the streets of her beloved neighborhood, the Flats in West Wilmington Walking from her home on Bayard Ave down to St. Thomas' school at 4th and Bayard Streets A delighted child enjoying the surf with her family for many summers at Cape May A happy teenager glad to be attending and graduating from Padua Academy back when it was in the old public school building near St. Anthony's Church A University of Delaware student marking the start of her long association with Newark The owner of Exit on Main Street, a trendy little store that matched her impeccable style The funniest and nicest waitress at the Rusty Rudder as she saved to finish school at the University of Delaware and graduated with a degree in Interior Design. Happily using her professional skills for major clients such as Christiana Hospital and the University of Delaware as she worked for Brennans' Office Interiors and later other design firms in Philadelphia The most generous and loving aunt in the world giving nieces and nephews everything they could possibly want Always happy to host or attend all family gatherings, especially Christmas Eve dinner in her beautiful Old New Castle home A faithful daughter caring for the mother she loved so much in her home in Old New Castle A beautiful beaming bride attended by her sister and nieces as she married the love of her life Barry Kinnally on June 5th, 2010 A beautiful woman spending time in her Happy Place at the beach cottage she loved so much in Summertime Park, Fenwick Island, DE. If you can imagine these scenarios, you have a perfect picture of our beloved Jeanie. But there is so much more to her. A heart as big as the Ritz, spreading joy in every encounter. She achieved her inner happiness and was always glad to spread that sun shine with a smile, an understanding word and an always loving spirit. A truly beautiful person inside and out. Jeanie passed from this world surrounded by her loving family at Christiana Hospital on November 16, 2021. The family praises and thanks the nursing staff of the surgical ICU at Christiana Hospital for their loving care shown to Jeanie. She was preceded in death by her father, William C. Dickson Sr, mother Claire T. Dickson and brother, William C. Dickson Jr. Left to remember her beauty: husband Barry Kinnally; sister Jody Poole (George); brother Christopher J. Dickson Sr. (Janis); nieces and nephews: Laurel Paz(Scott), George Poole Jr; Kelley Dickson, Christopher Dickson Jr; Corey Dickson; Christa Shelman (Benjamin); Taylor, Caroline and Whitney Shelman; and Olivia and Bella Poole.
