Raymond Joseph Otlowski, 76 of Landenberg, PA passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday surrounded by his family.Raymond was born in Perth Amboy, NJ the son of the late Mary (Roskey) and Raymond W. Otlowski. He was a 1962 graduate of the University of Delaware where he was a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity. Ray played on the 1959 Lambert Cup Championship team and was an All American Lacrosse player. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1963 to 1966, rising to the rank of Captain during his two tours of duty in Viet Nam. After his discharge, he graduated from the University of Baltimore Law School and passed the Delaware Bar Exam in 1974. He worked in the Public Defender's Office and the State of Delaware for 30 years and had his own private practice. He was a member of Holy Angels Church.Ray is survived by his wife of 51 years, Natalie Ann (Newhall) Otlowski; his son and his wife, Raymond David and Kristen Otlowski; his daughters, Elizabeth Ann Otlowski, Susan Scala and Jill Otlowski; his grandchildren, Raymond, Natalie, Thomas, Justin, Kaylee and Daniel and his sister and her husband, Joan and Bobby Galetta.The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Charles Schneider and the nurses of Christiana Hospital 6B.Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 10:30 AM at Holy Angels Church, 82 Possum Park Road, Newark.
